The world was on the brink of a pandemic but our journey down the deep dark path of illness had already started. The diagnosis of kidney failure had been given, and we were ill equipped to deal with it. We were not prepared for the rocky road the lay ahead of us. This is the story of two people who had learn to navigate through the waters of Kidney Failure, Blindness and a Pandemic. It's a lesson in resilience and keeping the faith alive while learning to rely on a higher power and asking for help. This was our Mount Everest the climb was the illness; The summit was the satisfaction pf knowing we have no regrets and the descent is the grief.
